Today’s manicure was created and inspired by Breast Cancer Awareness month (which is happening right now!). To learn more about what we’re doing with Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) check out our blog here: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
What You’ll Need:
-Orly Bonder basecoat (optional)
-3 different shades of pink nail polish
-Small paint brush (optional)
-Clear top coat nail polish
How To Do It Yourself:
Step 1: Get all your supplies lined up and ready to go. It might help to un-loosen your nail polish lids. Start off by applying the Orly Bonder as your basecoat to all your nails (this will prevent nail color from chipping or wearing off). Let dry for about 3 minutes then paint all of your nails with a your lightest shade of pink nail polish. Let dry for about 5 minutes.
Step 2: Next you will paint the tip of your nails with the second darkest shade of pink pail polish, just painting around the ends of the nails. Let dry for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Now using your darkest shade of pink nail polish and a small paint brush, paint a curved line above the line you just made in step 2. We found that it worked best to use a thin paint brush for this step but you could also use the brush that the nail polish comes with.
Step 4: Apply a layer of clear top coat to seal in your new manicure and you’re all done!
